Luxcara has concluded one of the largest German supply contracts for renewable energy with RWE Supply & Trading.

The 10-year power purchase agreement has an annual volume of up to 170 gigawatt hours. The energy will be generated by Luxcara’s solar park in Mecklenburg, which will be constructed and operated without state funding. RWE Supply & Trading will supply the energy to Volkswagen.

Luxcara is a leading asset manager for renewable energy in Europe, managing a portfolio of power plants with a total capacity of more than 3GW.
